How does the UV timer work?
UV Me uses your real-time UV index, your Fitzpatrick skin type, and your SPF level to estimate your Skin Limit for today. It is a ceiling, not a tanning target, and it is an estimate, not a safe amount: UV damage can happen even without a burn. Your daily UV dose meter is on the Protect tab.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Tap Get Pro in your Profile, or look for upgrade prompts on Pro-gated features. Pro is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, billed through Apple. If your Apple ID is eligible, Pro starts with a 3-day free trial that includes 3 Goldie questions, 1 Glow Plan and 1 Skin Scan. The trial renews into the plan you picked unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Anyone with an account can also buy Goldie questions one at a time or five at a time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
UV Me subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → UV Me → Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
I already paid. Where's my Pro access?
Go to Profile → tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro status will sync from Apple within seconds. If it doesn't restore, email us and include your Apple ID email address.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and your personal data from UV Me, and wipes the app's data on your phone. Beach ratings and reports stay in the beach guide with your name removed, and our backups age out within 30 days. Glow Spotlight submission records, and any Spotlight photo we featured, are kept as proof of your consent. This cannot be undone. Details: App Privacy Policy, Section 9.
Is my data shared with anyone?
UV Me never sells personal information. Adults who opt in may share anonymized sun-care habits and meetup activity, which we turn into aggregated insights for brands, never your name, email or identity. You can switch it off anytime in Settings. See the App Privacy Policy · California Privacy Notice.
Why isn't Goldie Glow responding?
Goldie needs a live internet connection to think. Check your connection and try again. If she's still quiet, the app may be updating in the background, so close and reopen it. Still stuck? Email us.
How do Squad Tan meetups work?
Squad Tan meetups are created and organized by UV Me users, not by UV Me. Any user can create a meetup and invite friends in the app or with a share card. Public meetups are for adults 18 and over. UV Me provides the platform; organizers run their own events. App Terms apply.
