How does the UV timer work?

UV Me uses your real-time UV index, your Fitzpatrick skin type, and your SPF level to calculate a safe sun exposure window. The timer is a protective ceiling — not a tanning target. Check the Protect tab for your daily UV dose meter.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Tap the ✦ Pro button in your Profile tab, or look for upgrade prompts on Pro-gated features. Pro is $9.99/month with a 3-day free trial. Billed through Apple — manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

How do I cancel my subscription?

UV Me subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → UV Me → Cancel. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

I already paid — where's my Pro access?

Go to Profile → tap "Restore Purchases." Your Pro status will sync from Apple within seconds. If it doesn't restore, email us and include your Apple ID email address.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → scroll to Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and all stored data from UV Me servers. Your local app data is also wiped. This cannot be undone.

Is my data shared with anyone?

UV Me never sells personal information. Adults who opt in may share anonymized, aggregated SPF habit data with suncare brands — never your name, email, or identity. You can opt out anytime in Settings. See our Privacy Policy.

Why isn't Goldie Glow responding?

Goldie needs a live internet connection to think. Check your connection and try again. If she's still quiet, the app may be updating in the background — close and reopen. Still stuck? Email us.

How do Squad Tan meetups work?

Squad Tan meetups are created and organized by UV Me users — not by UV Me. Any user can create a meetup and invite their squad via a private link. UV Me provides the platform; organizers run their own events. Terms apply.
